Klaus the film is of absolute smoothness as well as being sharp

No comparison with digital with "cutting" and "agressive" edges and lines

Nice pictures with great tonality

RPW, really love the second picture

Lovely girl !

Nice color of a bus red-orange ?  :)

I think I must try this film. Not easy to find in France !

Thanks, yes, interesting colours. The bus is red but the film does some funny things.

The second one was me and my daughter in the park. The old 35mm pre ASPH can really isolate a subject well, even if it is a little soft.

I think I shot that at f5 which should be nice and sharp, but I've noticed that potentially the calibration is a little off.

Also the film is rated between 12-100, I shot at 50, however next time I might push it a little more.  :D

Thanks for link, but this thread looks like this is all in german, so I am not quite sure what points they are making -- would like to know.

But you can watch the pictures. It seems like a problem with the emulsion peeling of partly.

This is the original APX 100 from AGFA, developed just as the manual in the box says. Rodinal 1:25, just this simple ;-)

The APX was a wonderful film.

Thanks, Gary! I like to collect cameras and I also like to use them. That's what they are built for. And I often was astonished about the (technical) great results that some of the simple, old cameras can deliver.

And so I'm very amused reading threads like "Summicron IV or V - which is better?" :-)

I've just bought a Fuji GW690 what a great camera wish I had bought one years ago

I have almost 70 to 80 rolls of APX in 135, but only a few left in 120. :-(
