very lovely, Marc.  I have a Kasha carpet in my living room.  My grandfather (and his brothers) used to warehouse them in Baghdad, where he ran the customs agency (long ago in a different world...)

For Philip in relation to one of his recent train station photos

This is from Williamsburg Brooklyn a couple of weeks ago

M-A, 28mm summaron, Fuji Pro 400H

wide open at 5.6 due to low light, with the resulting natural lens fall off quite prominent..

yes, the SF24 and the flash setting on the shutter (I think 1/45), holding the camera as tight as I can!

Gary - I view this quite simply as a form of "macro" photography...like Henry's photos of the bees and flowers :)

Not only do you poke your camera in people's faces you also set a bright light off as well !! :D  Something I could never do. Though the temporary blindness would help aid my escape ...

Another good series rich in colour and expression. I believe only in New York could you get away with wearing a jacket like the gentleman in your first photo.

24896451202_235664cdb9_b.jpgWeggis - Ilford Delta 100 film by -Ric Capucho-

Another long exposure taken on that *lousy* day of horrible weather... which is exactly what I need to get interesting results.

I shot off two rolls of HP5+ the other morning, this time using the newly arrived Rolleiflex. Handheld, and on a nice day, so no long exposures. Looking forward to seeing how the film performs... and will be nice to get some kind of results as I begin playing with medium format.

Blighty Ric, or Zurich?

Either way, a dull day to say the least.

Very nice picture Ric.  :)

When you said "long exposure" it means less 1/15 -1/30 ?

You'll need a tripod in this case ?
