Erm, one of my more blurry shots typically taken during the night on the way back to my hotel from one of my usual indian restaurants (probably the Tale of India) near the London Docklands.

The Flickr crowd liked this one, for some reason.

I remeber when i was at school in Stockport we used to wear arm bands so we could be seen, i lived on the road next to the school and the smog was that thick i had to feel the walls and hedges to find my way to the top of the road at dinner time we played hide and seek on a field that fitted 4 football pitches 2 hockey pitches and 2 cricket creases thats what you call a pea souper about 1970

Yep, my first memories of proper peasoup would also have been in the very early 1970s ("Plant a Tree in 73") just up the road from you in Romiley. I remember the amazing silence as all the traffic was grounded... both on the ground and in the air. Even the buses were stopped.

Walking to and from skool was an amazing experience for a wee lad...

I like it a lot. The still water (and fog?) makes the wooden structure really jump out. Very effectful. The faint shapes on the horizon, are they trees?

No, it is a wind farm, which seems to extend all the way along the coast from Liverpool !

Love the vanishing line tree photo Henry.

If one can't get out and shoot one can at least take a snap from the stairs at work...

You suggested to Adam, to give some colour ! I am wondering how the above would look in black and white. I do like this.

C330 and probably Foma 400 (just had 10 rolls delivered)

A good series of images.

I do use Fomapan quite often, usually ISO 100. How do you find 400 ? It does not look too grainy and has good contrast.

By the way, has anybody used Fomapan 100 4x5 sheet film ? I was thinking of getting some as it appears reasonable value (£35 for 50 sheets) to start my large format journey ...
