Advertisement (gone after registration)

18 hours ago, stray cat said:

For the exhibition in Ballarat both Ashleigh and I had one of our photos blown up to 1.5 X 1 meters and hung at the entrance. This was the picture I chose. The drum-scanned Tri-X image taken with the 90mm summicron looked fantastic at that size, even from close range (still does - I still have it):

"We haven’t seen Amanda in our community for some time but others tell us she is o.k. and doing well."

Your Ballarat exhibition is remarkable and tweaks the pain in my right shoulder from raising my hand repeatedly voting for unmitigated binge watching, anxiously awaiting the next installment. There is surely a concertina binding book here vying for real estate on my bookshelf, alphabetized from Avedon to Wright.

Top Walker 4.208m. - Grandes Jorasses - Italy

Leica M6 - 90Elmarit - Kodachrome25 PKM

Ther strong contrast was masterfully dominated by the 90 Elmarit: dark blu sky and white snow clearly legible, despite the scan, that put in evidence a lot of grain; I hate the scan😟...but!

Kodachrome - as you know - was designed to be projected or printed in Cibachrome; therefore, it's obvious that in projection, Kodachrome is much more beautiful...imagine it, you can😀
