Thank you for your message  ......  I say this knowingly since I had an M8 and M9 (still there with smallpox for the second time for the M9) that I used for 10 years and then I compared the color for all the photos taken all duplicate  ...  result I only do film 😀

.... and I add  fortunately as you say Leica felt that they forgot that there is still the FILM which works well among young people hence no doubt the release of the new M6 which I wish a long life   ...   in what we like all here, I'm talking about photography in an Artistic sense of the term
