There is lots to like about this photograph, the composition and the grain which adds to the mood. I like it.

Lovely dreamy feel to this photo, me thinks it would look great as a print.

very nice..and which film was it ?

Thank you very much for your comment. At that time I was shooting exclusively TMY (almost certainly not the current emulsion).

Thanks Wayne! Much of the character is the lens (which I should have put as focal length of 2 inches - my apologies to the great lens makers Cooke and Taylor Hobson). It is an oddity, one I use far too infrequently (into the sun it loses much sharpness and I can't find a hood to fit it). But in the right conditions it is a great lens that can take great photos (and is probably the best lens for strange bokeh, if you are into that). Here, as in many of my photos, I am pulling in the highlights in post processing to get the detail in the sky. If (again) I could find a filter to fit, that would be a slightly better solution.

Charles, the 2 inch f2 Cooke Amotal LTM takes a screw in e34 filter and vented hood .

Many thanks JM, that's exceptionally helpful. Evidently a beautiful lens for colour film too - the saturation of Ektachrome producing a lovely balanced colour profile.
