Oh, yeah! This one WANTS to be noticed! Big, bold and brassy in Y*E*L*L*O*W, disorder in the order ("yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir"), daringly, dangerously red-lining at the top. Run it up the flagpole with that wire and see who salutes it!

But hang on - what's going on here? - it's been REDACTED!

A wonderful, mischievous and alluring interplay Rog. Most certainly billboard-sized in the backlit transparency propping up one of those round corners in the Guggenheim!

This is not an analog photo but it shows my M-A with a metal grip from kamerakraft. I have read about it here in this thread. I was never a fan of grips but this one improves the handling a lot especially if you are walking through the streets.

My mother in 1955 in England. She was a natural model and loved living in the UK, Germany and Spain in the 50s. Vibrant time period. Leica IIIG, 50mm Elmar, Kodachrome. Scanned with a Nikon 5000 ED. I think my father was a tad off on his focus and I would have perhaps framed with her feet in the pic.

Had a Yashica T3 in my youth. It made nice shots. It is crazy what they ask at ebay for them today. There must be a hipster hype about them…

I bought the T5 new sometime around 1998 for backpacking.  At most it’s had only half a dozen rolls of film through it. It’s spent most of the past 27 years in its original box but it works perfectly.  I saw the prices they are selling for, so this will be its last roll of film I use with it because I’m going to sell it! I bought  the Canon Sureshot A1 to use when whitewater kayaking.

Both the T5 and A1 have a nice, sharp Tessar type lens and make good images and prints.
I’ve no idea when or why I bought the Ricoh! 😊

Hornets are essentially harmless animals, minding their own business, as is hunting for butterflies and other hymenoptera. If your garden table with the cake on top is in their route home, they just fly a curve... just don't hit at them. When winter comes, most of them die--only the Queen and the few princesses, which will found new states next spring,  will survive. The combs will fall out of the hollow willow, as here in my garden.       But there will be another spring  !
