Since I've posted quite a few of the shots from this film project over the past couple of years, I just thought I'd show you the denouement.

It is finished, and I have the first proof copy of the book! 46 pictures covering 450 miles/725 km, and 7° of longitude across Colorado.

Mostly Mamiya 6 50/75/150 and Hassy SWC pictures, but a few with Hassy 500CM before I got the Mamiya. I used Kodak TMax 400 in HC-110 (B). (copy photos Leica M10).

Congratulations, Andy. What a terrific idea for a book! Where is it published?

Are we to discount the Rashomon effect? So the bicyclist is right-handed? The suspect who walks down the road, only to return after having done what? Does the evidence of the tracks testify to a sore back and the slight limp that favors the left foot? Who walks a bicycle zigging and zagging through four inches of snow on the road? Are drugs and alcohol involved here? Isn't there evidence of more than loitering? Perhaps a skirmish mid-road? And what about the off-road thickets? The frightening landscape that this photograph as People's Exhibit A documents will be entered in evidence? The fiction of the fox with mice on its breath? He must be expensive, but justice has its price. Yes, hand the case over to Philip. Never a "cold" case, but there's the red flash!

Great fun with your story, Rog. Didn't know I was actually in a dangerous situation on that dull afternoon... But  luck is with the simple-minded... 😁

Published via Blurb!

But it is not in their bookstore yet for public sale - and if it ever is, I'll buy an ad from Andreas to promote it here. ;)

For the time being I'm just ordering copies in bulk myself (nice discount!), and selling them through the gallery. And even that won't fully ramp up until after the New Year. The proof revealed a few typos I need to fix (the picture reproduction is excellent!).
