stray cat Posted September 28, 2020 Share #71603 Posted September 28, 2020 Looks like you're enjoying that Fuji behemoth, Ken, and doing some excellent work with it. Do you find you are having to use a tripod or is it comfortably hand-holdable?

Do you find you are having to use a tripod or is it comfortably hand-holdable? Thanks so much, Phil. Originally, I took a tripod, but so far, with 400 film during the day, I'm fine handholding even with an orange filter and I've only had a few that show any shake. The lens is a 28 equivalent; the focusing circle is very small and light, so it's best for zone shooting at infinity,

I haven't seen Picasso's rendition, so thanks for that. My shot and the collage are actually not connected, except that I cannot escape the catalogue of lagoon images in my mind. I simply went back through some my shots to explain where I started to construct the collage. Today, I received the book of an 2017 exhibition of Matisse and Diebenkorn, and it's very interesting to trace how much Diebenkorn drew from Matisse. Listed in the catalogue are the titles of 42 Matisse books that Diebenkorn had in his library. On 9/26/2020 at 12:24 PM, Shlomo said: Now You found the magician in Your inner self. Wonderful image!
