The colors are incredible Adam! Especially the blue sky with a the waterfront as a mirror!

Thanks a lot, Marc!  Sometimes with these long exposures I get a lot of turquoise instead of deep blue.  Not really sure why but I just go with it :)

Very different, indeed,  Gary.  I love the effect.  It has a real vintage feel to it.  I say stick with it when the mood sets in!

Merci can of worms 🤣🙂

Beautiful, Peter.  I love the peacefulness and bright highlights in the grass.  The details in the tree keep the eye moving around the image.  Well done!

Really one of your very best, Steve.  So happy to that you've loaded some film.  The image has so much soul.  The eye say so much and the legibility of words on the box of food adds to the interest.  Well done and hope you'll stick around here!!  Hope all is well!

Very nice, Steve.  But are you sure the lens doesn't have focus shift?  I am not seeing spot on focus.  It would not be uncommon and if it is the Leica folks should pay for an adjustment.  while they are at it, you should negotiate for them to pay for a 6-bit coding.  This is what I did when I bought my 75 lux a while back from Adorama.  (I have since sold that lens....)

Very lovely, Joerg!

That's right, Antonio.  Keep your warm winter coat and favorite scarf by your side! :)

Ah, a homage of the perfections of imperfection!  Great!

Thanks, but since it is an SLR there is now focus shift since I can see whats in focus (when the diopter is set right) and this is the last version they made of the lens, it is 6 bit coding which comes in handy when I put on my CL and it becomes a 120 🙂

Here is Craig Williams, salesman at Leica Store SOHO in NYC.....I have been buying and trading with him from well before this store, when they were branded Kurland (who still owns the store) and were upstairs on Broadway by Bleecker. Craig is a top guy, always honest, straight, and fun to chat with ..... Reason for positing his picture is that I traded on some R lenses for the 80mm R Summilux, these are the first two.... can't wait to see this lens paired with Ektachrome ...

He looks like he’s having some second thoughts about that deal :)
