 In a Mall, Montreal

Circa 1993

This was taken while on a high school French trip my senior year.

This is the shopping mall of Place Montreal Trust - there is an office tower connected to it, where I worked for many years. Nice to see a picture of a place with many excellent memories. The fountain attracted anatomical references to the then President of the company.

That's wonderful. Including the processing.

Do you mind sharing how you developed it? Thanks.

John

Dear John I don´t develope any more myself but I still think to know that my laboratory uses Tetelan Ultrafin Plus 1+10.

In the good old days I used Calbe 520 (liquid) for Kodak T-Max100 and 400 - still not sure if it´s available any more ?

My first choice for studio portraits was the amazing APX25 which was at it´s best with Neofine Blue at 50 ASA.

Good old days......  -_-

Yes, both cliffs are part of the same bit of chalk upland. The Calais cliffs don't look very far away at all on a sunny day, especially when photographed with even a modest telephoto lens. 90 Macro Elmar.

"You can look at mine if I can look at yours."

Both great pictures and a testament to the resolution of Leica lenses.

Kodak TX400 is really a good film, the contrast and the general rendering are superb

without the digital aspect of the M Monochrom.

Soft ,good definition and superb black ! ... and with a Leica MP the result is really nice !

One of my favorite film perhaps more than TMAX400

Kodak TX400 has a special fingerprint and in print the image is also beautiful

Yes Beres Leica lens has no equivalent  like the summicron in example

My Summicron is from 1986 like my Leica R4S same date ie 31 years

Ian picture is also great in composition and color , The MacroElmar used

in his picture is one of the best Leica tele 90 lens

Thanks for your comment
