Thanks, Gary and Wayne. It wasn't staged - Just young 'dudes' trying to look like 'cool dudes', then looking kind nervous when I turned my camera their way. I know how hard it is to look cool - I gave up before I started.

I know it was not staged. It captures too perfectly that "fish out of water" look that adolescent males assume when in unfamiliar circumstances. Another comparison would Moe, Larry, and Curly of Three Stooges.

It is a grand shot. I am jealous. :)

Lovely, do you have any Leica 35mm lenses to compare to the VC 35F2.5 (i also have this lens) i keep thinking about getting my first Leica lens but wonder if 4x the price is worth it

Unfortunately I don't own any Leica 35mm lenses, I've been wondering the same myself.

Your getting good at this colour lark, Gary! Has Henry corrupted you?

Eoin , for color may be :) but Gary is like me for the "Panzer"

Leicaflex SL made in Germany , is good and Gary like me

uses now a lot for nature,  isn't ? I think it's more  adapted for

macro because the visibility is better than M  RF , may be it's not

Gary opinion :D

Yep me too, colour is so muted that it might as well be mono anyway.

You could reduce the weight of the two cameras by just sharing the same lens Henry.

Gary

Thanks Gary for your comment.I am glad to bring with me the 2 SLR

one for color and one for b&w.You can tell me you can convert color

in b&w , but I think the sensitivity of film is so good and so you can see

the difference ! In my case I keep the picture in color if I don't have in b&w

I like the earthy colours, Henry, and the translucence of the water.

Thank you for your comment. Yes dryness is a problem for these populations

like you can see in Malaysia  I think. With dryness can happen famine and

diseases I am afraid .

Henry,

The photographs aside, and they are great, this post makes me think more of you and your dedication to film photography. The idea of you pedaling through the French countryside, R4s and Leicaflex in tow, snapping away, brings a big smile to my face. My day will be brigher. :)

Yes Wayne more I shoot film more I think film is really a good support and at the moment

sensor is not satisfying specially for color.

It's normal , the perception of color by our eyes has not the same spectre than perception of color

by sensor. That's why you have in example the red is not a true red !

Thanks for your advice Wayne , glad you think like me :)

Best

Wonderful colors of the Ektar Film for landscapes, but I don't like it for portraits, to much "vivid" for the skin, you agree? How will be the new Ektachrome, like Ektar?

It is a bit too vivid for skin
