Went out Thursday afternoon to the local village of South Cerney - unfortunately the sun went in just as I arrived so it was all rather grey.  Still, I was there, Hasselblad 500C in hand so it was a case of making the most of things.  (60mm Distagon CB, Fomapan 200 rated at ISO 125, Rodinal 1+50).

Waterside Skeleton

I love really the waterside, great !!!

Well, color me pleased!

I took possession of 400' of Eastman 5222 direct from Kodak in Rochester NY and this is the first roll shot with my Olympus Trip.

I shot it at EI 320 and souped it in HC110 B for 8 minutes. That wasn't my first choice of developers, I am waiting on some chems from PF to make D96 (the official developer for this film) but I couldn't wait any longer. :)

The negatives came out pretty good, slightly thin based on my recent developing of HP5, but they printed really really nicely.

Backlit Symmetry   Cliche - what cliche?  When one sees a possibility, it can be difficult to pass it up.  Hasselblad 500C, 60mm Distagon CB, Fomapan 200.

Going, going, almost gone...  M7, ZM C-Sonnar 50mm, Tri-X, Rodinal.

Nice tonal range, quite delicate for Tri-X in Rodinal.

I've read quite a bit about the ZM 50mm c-sonnar, nothing to complain about with the mid range aperture here.

Fantastic photos and a great idea.  Love the personality in them and of course the colors.  Could be the makings of a series a la Winogrands from the Zoo... :)

Film from the Westminster Dog Show .... a few shots (not to overwhelm) ....  the culled collection in on my website sblitzphotoart.com

Love the energy in this one, Phil.  Not from Coney Island, me guesses :)

Another early picture, albeit using something other than Tri-X or Kodachrome. I like here the sense of joie de vivre:

Oak Park Illinois 1944. That's me with my grandparents and their Pontiac. Camera unknown. My father had several at the time. No identification on the negatives except the frame number.

I wonder if any of my digital images will still be around in 73 years.

Wow....just wow.

That is so awesome on so many levels...not only is it so well shot, the fact that you took that negative and printed it just as someone did 70 years ago is also amazing.

Christoph

Near Arles you can find a small village (and castle ruin) perched on a hill: Les Baux-de-Provence.

If you visit, do so out of season, otherwise you will get swamped by tourist busses - it is one of the

most visited places in France. Here a view from the castle onto the village and the landscape behind.

Here are two (un artsy shots) of Tri-X done in TMax RS. This is from a test roll (my first B&W through the M6) at a friend's house. I'm disclosing that because I don't want anybody to think I'm that messy (though my wife might think so) I like the tonality and contrast on the combination. For the record, I forgot I was using Tmax Developer and processed to D76 times from habit... not sure if it's the same or not.
