Sorry to hear your news, Henry. I'm sure we are all hoping for the best outcome for your sister.

My right arm is getting stronger - I'm encouraging it to grow collateral vessels with exercise to get around the embolus. Not only do I need to hold a camera again, but I will have to shovel snow this winter!

I'm very encouraged to see the excellent photos being posted here; I'll join in again as soon as I can.

Chris

Chris, Great thanks for your sympathy

We both worries but I hope this will pass....

We look forward to seeing you again  !

But in the meantime good rest and good recovery

Best regards

Henry

So I have been (finally) working on the bare bones of a website to showcase some of my photographs and offer high-end prints for sale.

I still have more work to do but would love any feedback you might have.  Only making this solicitation on this thread (and will do it only once) given the good people you are whom I've gotten to know over the years.

Thanks in advance :)

A Miller I visited your website.  Your work is fantastic.  The shot of the painter in the long coat painting with his back to the camera

should be in an Art Museum.

Cheers Dan

Thanks a lot, Dan.  I appreciate that and am glad you like my painter shot.  :)

Sincere thanks, Jean-Marc :)  Ah, yes, my St Maarten Sunset Beach series! How nice of you to remember! :)  I have uploaded them to the site along with a bunch of other "people watching"-type beach photos but have not yet compiled them in a way to be able to present them as a cohesive project.   At some point I most likely will and I really thank you for your time :)

Ok that's great. Now stick 'em all in a nice book so I can buy it! ;)

Maximize the size of your pictures on your site to 1000 x 1000.........I use a plugin to do that and now my pictures load much faster. When I clicked on a few of your thumbnails it took a long time for the picture to show up.

All the best with your website mate.

Adam I agree with all comments above.

We recognize your great style . All pictures are wonderful on your website specially street photos

and tags . Landscapes of NYC are also great.

We wait now for a book as said Mute.

Film is a great support for photography because of vivid and faithful color , no comparison with color

in digital which requires much correction with software .

Good work Adam

I'll ask you some informations when I do my website.

Best

Henry

PS : Adam ,  you're right to shoot film because digital still has problems

You said moiré ?
