Actually I worked in the UK throughout the 90s mostly on "clay" animation  films .

Shooting "Noddy" series near Manchester in the late 90s on 16mm Kodak 200T negative cine film with Bolex cameras and  a few MF  stills shots / reversal film (cannot recall which)  ,  Mamiya 67 (?), 250mm lens with a strong diopter, f16 and at around 4 second exposure methinks:

Excellent Gary, the GS80 came after the XT . Used the beemer to commute from Paris France to Manchester UK in the 2000s which I traded for a GS100 ...

Self portrait in Italy around 2003 , Hexar AF, most probably Kodak E200:

Thank You :)

The lens is 40mm Voigtlander Nokton 1.4

I think it is at f2 or lower in this photo.

Still getting used to the sunny 16 metering.

Here I just fired two shots at around f1.6 or f2

Ilford HP5 plus 400 in the oven, and shutter at 1/50

I didn't do the developing, that was done by a studio near my workshop. Pretty sure they did a bit of contrast adding and so. This is how they sent me the pic... Hope to get a scanner soon so I can do that part at home and be more aware what I actually shot.

thank you for kind words,

Silvio

I'll have to see if I have any photo's of her. I wasn't very systematic in my file organisation in those days (and this has not improved with age).

Wow! Fantastic, JM. I did traditional animation back in the early 80's, before a lack of talent and money brought about a quantum shift in career direction (I also raced pushbikes for a pseudo-living back then, so quantum shifts were the norm).
