For anyone interested in Robert Capa's D-Day pictures, and all the controversies that surround it, I've written a blog in response to recent criticism.  It starts with an introduction then you can choose to explore other aspects more deeply.

I just returned from Omaha Beach for the 81st anniversary ceremonies.  There were tons of reenactors, which made for great photography.  I used Kodak XX (5222) and developed each night using D96 in a small farm house I rented in Formigny.

nice contrast between the architecture with the lively street culture, the composition conveys the scale of the bulding while captureig the everyday rhythm ol urban life
