For traveling I bought a R zoom 28-90 with an adapter for my M10. I was very happy with the results and I thought why not using this wonderful lens also analog? I found a R8 in a very good condition for a very good price and used it last week for portrait shootings in combination with my M6 TTL. And I have to admit that I really like the results of the R8. I had more „focus failures“ with the R8 in comparison with the M6 TTL, but I think it is just a matter of training.

Jennifer, R8, R 2.8/28-90 zoom, Portra 800 (for a sharper version, please click on the photo)

Lovely portrait. Wishing you happy and rewarding moments with your "new camera and lens combination.

Fabulous portrait the single eye to draw one in and hold ones attention. Very powerful!

Beach sunset fashionista.

No filters here (okay, a protective UV filter) just pink light from Mother Nature.

Nikon FE2, Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f1.4, Fuji 400 USA made (aka Ultramax 400), lab scan with minor edits.

Lovely expression, one to warm the soul.

That’s a very generous offer Olaf. I’m sure there would be many enthusiastic takers from without the EU. I’ll be back in Australia next week but I imagine postage would be quite prohibitive. If it wouldn’t be too expensive I’d be happy to reimburse you for shipping.

Again, many thanks for a very kind and generous offer.

If I put them in a bubble envelope it shouldn’t be too expensive, but will they get scanned at airports?

Old and new of Seattle.  I remember when the Smith Tower was the tallest building.  Went to a senior prom at the top.  that was pretty cool.

Again with that light.  Nice.  Expect to see Captain Piccard beaming down any moment now.   (Yes, SNG is the best)

Shouldn't, I have purchased from Maco in Germany quite a few times, without issues. Post is usually different to travel.

Yes, as Gary said. It’s all a bit of a lottery with sending film but I’ve also bought film from different countries without issue.

And if there are no other takers for the Portra, I’d enthusiastically like to put my hand up. Please let me know how much to reimburse you and we could get this done.

M3, Dual Range Summicron, and probably a light yellow filter. Tight crop of a Tri-X negative on very old Ilford Galerie grade 3. Crappy scan of a 3.5” x 5” print.
