Thank you Tim for this magnificent series. Like Marc (Benqui) you also had the audacity to shoot a top model on film! Moreover, like Marc, your attention to detail with the model and her setting is meticulous. These rather non-clichéd gestures work so beautifully with the light and shadow, and the background setting is inspired. My advice would be to ditch the digital - your forté is girls on film!

Thanks, Phil, for your kind comments.  My remark to Marc was a little tongue-in-cheek because it's the same model, Viktoria Yarova, from Ukraine.

My mentor for this exercise was the great Vincent Peters, who shoots only on film.  (@vincentpeters1 on instagram, I highly recommend his books.)  I took a workshop with him last year and, when I do that, I like to get inside the head of the instructor.  I brought my film developing tanks, chemicals, etc., and processed the rolls at night.  I used my cell phone to photograph the negatives against diffused window light so I could reverse them and put them in a jpg format for class presentation the next day.  It was a great experience, plus I got to work with Viktoria.🤎🤎🤎  [she has a girlfriend, so there is no jealosy from my wife!]

I know it's a clichéd shot, but I quite like the way it turned out on the Ektar 100 (MP | 50lux).
