Thanks so much for comments and the tip-off to Wenders's film, which I just watched today thanks to you. He is truly a special talent.

Oh nice! Really happy you enjoyed it. He was hired to make a short film by the Japanese government about the new toilets in Tokyo and ended up making a full movie! Really captured a lot of what I love about Japan and the pride in work, respectfulness and treasuring physical things like music on tape (or records for me) and book stores and film cameras!

Your photo had that same elements of something that quiet and peaceful, a pacing not often seen in movies nowadays where time is seldom given to just let you sit with the characters. It felt like the opening to an interesting story with the door ajar as though someone had just entered and we would find out who soon enough.

Anyway! Thanks for the great photo! Back to more of them!

Wow! A stretch of time with four on the floor, the history of cool begging a soundtrack.

Very atmospheric and harmonious, without being kitschy, JMF. It shows that you can also do double exposures with the Leica M, you just have to not be afraid of the offset. Did you plan the offset, or was the result accidental?  I’ll have to give it a try right away. Unfortunately, I sold my M2 Button over a year ago, but it should also work with the small lever.
