Not a sharp picture, but perhaps due to that the elegance of the cat is pronounced, its movement before the block black background. 1

MD-2, CV 25mm, Foma400 accidential exposed@100 im AM74 As I walked on the beach, I was amazed at the misleading readings on my light meter but I followed my trusty Mastersix. On the next location I want to shot Largeformat on Foma100 and so I saw the falior. So I shortend my normal development for the 400er and get this result. The Foma 400 seems to be always good for a surprise.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! stray cat Posted February 14, 2024 Share #89333 Posted February 14, 2024 (edited) Thank you sincerely, Christoph. No flash here. This was a very long exposure, probably more than a minute, and part of my "from my window" series while I had covid recently. I am really loving the look of HP5+, a film I've used on and off over the years, though it always played second fiddle to Tri-X with me. However the cost of Tri-X has pushed me now towards being an HP5 devotee, and I am thrilled with it especially, as here, in XTOL 1:1. It might not show in the jpeg published here, but there is detail in the deep shadow areas and detail, too, in the frames of the window of the house opposite. Remarkable. I was unsure whether carrying the thambar around whilst hiking was a good idea. I did not use it much but I am very happy with the results when I did. Will definitely put it in the back pack again next time I have a chance to go hiking... This lake was very special and it was especially rewarding to reach after quite a long hike. With large format SF photography it is almost impossible to get the soft focus look so far in depth. With the large film formats the shallow depth of field ensures that the SF effect is in lost in the normal blur.
