M6, Nikkor 85/2 LTM, Tri-X (expired), Diafine.  IIRC this was at 1/15th of a second and wide open.  Surprised it's not even softer than it is!

Hi Aryel
You are right you have to learn and understand what happens with these lenses when you want
use them for more than silly blured unsharp stuff. In my eye one of the keyes to SF is the contrast. These lenses are demandig
but they can produce outstanding pictures. in very different ways

We interrupt this flow of amazing images to ask a rhetorical question: is this price a fucking joke?

not long ago and you got 5 films for the price. Maybe Kodak is trying to get back to the sales they had before digitalisation with this pricing policy?
Unfortunately, Kodak has a quasi-monopoly on colour film and is trying to explore the pain threshold of consumers in this way...

The 11th roll with my Rolleiflex. Warming period is over, time to get started seriously with portraits, that’s one of the main reasons I bought it.

Nice pictures, Olaf. Before you move on to the portraits--did you sort out the cause of the stripes on your negatives? There seemed to be two possible culprits: development or scanner....

Thawed out a roll or two of my sadly-diminishing stock of (seemingly discontinued) Fuji Superia 400 in search of some Autumn colour.

Excellent, John. I love the subtle colors of  the last light.

No, I didn’t. The negs are still at the lab, didn’t manage to collect them yet.

Here an atypical use of an SF Lens
The big engine

Wisner Expedition 4x5, Imagon 250mm, Foma100

In this low contrast scene the Imagon helps to show the oily surface of the engine.

I really love it! It is very subtle, the perfect balance. What I really love is that it gives an organic look to the motor and oil. It brings the scene to life. The negative must be a beauty on its own.

Thanks a lot for sharing.
