Another family snap with Wolfen NC400. I like the colours here.  They really pop in the well exposed part of the image.

This another nc500 shot. I think overall the colours are even more desaturated and it has more grain than nc400. I like the  look of both films though. Overall nc400 is more ‘moderate’. Happy to have quite a few rolls of both in the fridge.

The quality of photographs here has been increasing rapidly as of late. I have been hesitant to post just any old shot but feel that this example is the culmination of my body of work to date. My Mona Lisa, if you will. Humbly, though the lower res preview does not do it justice, I submit the finest photograph of plastic toilets I have ever taken:

Nice as it moves into the abstract. Did you double expose?

I totally agree with your your assessment, a film with a unique look and nice to have in the fridge (or camera). I still have to fully grasp in which circumstances it is best used; which rules to apply. As a first approach I look for strong compositions as in B&W photography, no fine details should be important as they get drowned in grain, open up the aperture to get lots of unsharp background and look for soft light to avoid over/underexposure.

Nice framing, and nice grey tones.
