I recently had the very good fortune to catch up with Philip (stray cat) and he gently encouraged me to post something to this thread. So here is a short series of 'boat sections', all taken with one of my M3's with attached rigid Summicron (first series). Kodak Ektar, processed at home by myself and scanned with Kodak F135+ scanner (this uses Kodak's colour inversion tables, so should be a good representation).

Welcome David! The pleasure of catching up with you and Alex in Melbourne was mine. These well-seen and realized pictures remind us yet again of the unmatched beauty of the colours and depth of film. You can endlessly look into those deep, deep blacks while the pristine whites still have plenty of detail. Superb.

They say you can spot an AI generated picture looking at the hands.  AI struggle a lot with fingers.  This seem to be a real painting but the hands looks a bit weird.  I like the overall framing and composition (photo).
