Nagel Pupille, Leitz Elmar 50/3.5, MF 127, Shanghai GP3 (100 ISO) film.

This film fights you every step of the way, from getting it on the reel to hanging it up to dry. It is one of those things: frustration that keeps you coming back for more.

You came back, Wayne. And got a wonderful photo.

Hello

I have a Summicron-R 50 do you need an attachment for it to fit to a Nikon FE or FM?

Thanks

Don

Wonderful capture! I was there 2 weeks ago. Just have developed the film yet.

I was at the Whitney last weekend and enjoyed the exhibit very much - which is what reminded me of this shot. This was taken in 2007 (?) at the National Gallery in DC.

A couple of weeks ago I drove through Ballymoney in Northern Ireland, when I realized I was going to do this I planned to take one of my Corfield Periflex cameras and photograph the old Corfield factory with it. Google street view told me it was located at 34 Ballymena road.

Sadly I was too late, the building is now gone.

But I am still in need of a macro lens.

As mentioned somewhere in the detailed scanning thread elsewhere on this site, the Micro-Nikkor 55 mm (2.8 or 3.5) is an absolutely stunning, flat-field lens specifically designed for this sort of work.  I have one attached to a BEEON for use with the SL and have had some very good results.  This lens seems to be readily available as Nikon made many of them.  The well-known online commerce site seems to have any number of them available for immediate purchase in the range GBP60-125.  Finding the appropriate set of extension tubes is probably the bigger challenge (I use a NikonF-L39 with L39 tubes that screw into the BEEON and then an L39-M + M-Adapter L at the camera end).
