Rolleiflex 2.8F with 80mm Planar f/2.8 (shot at f/6.8-f/13), developed in D76 1:1 at Ilford's recommended time. Thumbnail review - I can't see any weakness in the images that would suggest the lower price imposes a penalty. Except perhaps a touch of halation from bright-chrome reflections (see vee-wee bumper, for example). But that can only be tested for sure with multiple comparison pix across multiple lenses and films. To my eye otherwise a very tasty "table film" suitable for any use with confidence. Very silver-rich negatives that scan easily, with lush midtone separation, without crushing either shadows nor highlights even in contrasty Colorado winter sunlight. Welcome, dear visitor! I haven't had the chance to use it in 120 yet, but my experience with it in 135 is that it is very nice, with good sharpness. The 400 speed I find less sharp - certainly HP and Delta is "sharper" to my eyes and in my workflow. I have some rolls of the 400 in 120, and I am seeing the same thing - good, but not great. Price is pretty great, though...

In the choice of images it somehow reminds me of the "House of Cards" by Charles Eames. Yes, sculpture/photo collage is jazzy: Eames's "House of Cards" Bauhaus constructions, as well as Rauschenberg, Johns, Duchamp, Cornell, and others working beyond 2D. That would be great. Thanks for the kind words, @Aryel You can see all of the images here: https://www.blurb.co.uk/books/10190221-parasite That's not me asking you to buy the book! I only made it for myself and half the pages are blank as it was based on the design of a Louis Faurer photobook. A couple of years ago during lockdown i did have what I called a sixty minute gallery of these images on facebook, where I had uploaded them all to a private album which I made public for an hour, so people could visit for just that limited time. I included background info to provide context for those who are not as immersed in Cobain's life as I am! I also made an insane presentation box for the prints but I'll maybe post that at another time. Welcome, dear visitor! K100 is wonderful film regardless of price. It is sharp, has excellent latitude, pleasant grain, expands/contracts well in development for contrast control, and holds highlights very nicely, enlarges well, and the list goes on. I’m about halfway through my second bulk roll. I’ll be getting more when it’s gone. I like Kentmere 400 as well, just not as much as HP5, but that’s not surprising. HP5 is special. 2
