I'm ashamed to say it has been nearly a year since I developed a film—especially when it used to be one every day! But I was finally discharged from hospital two days ago after a long saga involving three donors and an eventual bone marrow transplant. Feeling rather dazed and shell-shocked, I have gone from this:

To this:

All are F6, 85/1.4, SB600, XP2 @200, Diafine in motorised Rondinax, Nikon 9000 scans.

Glad to see you fellows are keeping the place alive!

Hello DrMoss

Glad you are back

Don

Looking good Chris. So glad to hear that you are out of hospital and having found a donor. All the very best to you and the family.

Nice photo! I knew before I got to the info at the bottom that it was the 50 Lux ASPH: it has such a distinctive draw.

While I'm being perhaps overly honest with my camera:

I'm delighted with the results of XP2 and Diafine in my little motorized Rondinax. Never imagined so little grain, as I always felt Diafine was sensitive to over-agitation.

Thanks.  Well-observed.  I am finding it interesting just how well this lens works on film.  I have had some stunning shots using it on an M9 (although I often prefer the Elmar-M 50) and it is competent on the SL (although I find I prefer the Summilux-R 50).  But, attached to the M3, it is stunning.
