I saw the greenish-blue metal colour and the dark orange red in the background and thought cinestill. Nice.

Very funny, Bo. And a great document. You probably will believe me  that my anatomy lessons were a lot quieter ?  At least the theory part... ☺️

Great photo, Phil! And so daring of you to take the Rollei out to sea.

Ha ha! Thanks Ken. I must admit my feet DID get wet taking this. Not intentionally I might add as I had my shoes on!

Nice shot! Also very smooth FP4, my FP4 is always (too) contrasty.

Thank you so much Antonio. I developed two rolls at. the same time. One roll had some weird light or development stain running down one side of the roll and this roll was pretty grotty with dust and what have you. I thought I'd done a pretty good job with that tankload but obviously something didn't go quite right. New chemicals and better attention to what I'm doing next time I think!

and boys on the beach  enjoying the end of the summer I presume. And a photographer his new camera. Great result, Phil. I like it how you guide the viewer in a zig-zag through the scene. Waiting for more.

Yes thank you Klaus. I'm like a dog with a new bone! It's a lovely camera to use and it seems very important for me right now to try to learn as much as I can about effective use of the square. I'm enjoying the ride so far!

This is exceptional, hilly. Something to enhance a prominent bit of wall-space at home I'd suggest.

Straight out of "No Country For Old Men" or maybe "Paris, Texas" or Bogdanovich's "The Last Picture Show". America as seen and accutely observed through European eyes. Quirky, sociological, beautiful and dare I say, "cinematic".

Wow! This is really exploring some interesting territory, Ken. The precise, razor sharp Mamiya lens and that sumptuous big negative are just made for this sort of scene with so much intriguing detail. A monochrome "color field" that keeps the eyes wandering all over. Would love to see more along these lines.

How's the serenity? A poetic field of white, Shakespearean almost, with an abundance of harmony. Restful, perfectly composed and executed.

This series is sensational, frame-it. You've hit on a perfect medium for the sort of photos you excel at, those noir-ish Asian cityscapes with their colour and mystery. Please stick with the Cinestill, explore further and post them here.
