I think it works great at 12iso (developed in hc-110 dil b for 7 mins). Grainless. It is orthochromatic, though, so red tones render slightly darker. In the sun it's great, 1/125 F4! philipus Posted February 15, 2021 Share #74471 Posted February 15, 2021 (edited) I absolutely love these monochrome winterscapes Klaus. I don't find many when I search. 53 minutes ago, AntonioF said: Yes. 6-25 iso. I think it works great at 12iso (developed in hc-110 dil b for 7 mins). Grainless. For the short ends, i had to stalk a specific seller. 😅

Thanks - I kept my expectations moderate when ordering this lens for a good deal. I got it together with the external 11 mm viewfinder which makes it usable with M film cameras (or digital ones which have no display/EVF). After testing this lens on both my M-E 240 and on my M6, I am blown away! The lens provides a beautiful background blur at closer focus, too. I am currently in process writing a review about this lens on my blog. 2

stray cat Posted February 16, 2021 Share #74477 Posted February 16, 2021 (edited) These are looking, to my eyes at least, an improvement, Ken, since you rejigged the scanning setup. Do you find the new scanning regimen is working better for you? The Mamiya 7 is a wonderful system and it looks like you're enjoying it very much. This is one of the examples I'm most pleased with. I think it renders the MF depth that the Mamiya produced. Once figured out (not easy!), the Fuji is a really good camera; in fact, pretty much a bargain compared to we-know-what brand. Of course, I'm now dealing with 500 mps files.

Still, I guess once you get a scan done you can save it as a much smaller file or compress it or whatever. Anyway, the pics are looking extremely tonally full and it looks like you're having a beautiful snowy winter there with some clear blue skies - that must be pretty hard to beat! 2
