Simplifying is good and an art in itself.  I'm still reading the Chevron piece  and keep coming back...

Antonio, a nice play with the horizontal lines which dissolve into the clouds... and the RV interrupting the sequence like something  fallen from the skies..

HI guys,

today I share a picture of my "other" passion, the music. Since covid my brass-group isn't allowed to have rehearsals, but I'm playing a lot at home.

Thanks for your comments and the patronage, which will certainly help nudge this to the New York Times best seller list of redacted books. The main problem I've discovered is that the list itself is so redacted as to render my redacted work little more than a redaction. I tried to pay for a Starbuck's Americano with the royalties, but I was embarrassed to find my credit had been redacted and Starbucks wouldn't even take an autographed copy, which as it turns out I had signed with a redacted pen that left no trace. With that I was left only to conclude that I had become a non-artist under the definition of the new regime and promised to redact with efficiency all verbs and incriminating nouns, including pronouns, and privilege articles and adverbs. Such is the hazard of a non-artist trading in redactions. I am thinking of jettisoning the rectangular redaction in favor of a Derridean strategy that calls for simply drilling a great many half-inch holes indiscriminately through the bound volume. The principal challenge will be the contest of titanium drill bit against steel plate "pages." The life of a non-artist finding himself out on a limb of Phil's "preposterous tree!"

Thank you for the clarification.  I can see clearly now: Your book is the redacted first print of a joint venture of Kafka on the left side with an unpublished short story and an early draft of Becketts Waiting for Godot  on the other side. They agreed on this "cadavre exquis" when they met as incubi on the chest of the snoring leader of the Vatican commission dealing with the " Index librorum prohibitorum" -- a list they try to expand; so don't turn your head, Rog.             😂

It shows that it is possible to commune, spiritually, via contact on WWW. You may not have realized it, but I was with you when you took this one :) To quote Klaus:..."as if it had fallen out of the skiy." Whenever I encounter one of these things, be it on the road; parked in a driveway; rotting in a field, they always, to my mind, seem a disruption of the universe; something that must be recorded. Thank you. This one made me laugh.

Best,

Wayne

I admit I have a few RV pics as well. I've never been in an RV, but I assume that when you own one, you automatically learn and know how to park them in the best spot to be photographed.

Great photo and fantastic tonality. I'm wondering though if he isn't mistaking that R for an M since it seems he's put his eye in the wrong spot :D

Beautiful Phil. And the filter/film combination is perfectly chosen, not too dark and not too light. Is it the large ocean around your place that produces these wonderful clouds?
