Thank you. It was normal 35mm through an OM1.

I wanted to try caffenol and see if it was all hype or not. I stumbled onto this blog-site,  http://caffenol.blogspot.com/2010/05/caffenol-c-h-highspeed.html

Have a read there, and follow it through to the "ordinary" Caffenol-C-M recipe.

PM me if you get stuck.

I was thinking about an M3 to keep my M2 company, but for some reason I could not find one with an APO-Summicron attached.  You did well to find one of those, 39 years ago!

I know the feeling; I was thinking about an M2R to keep my M3 company! I am the second owner of my 1960 M3 that came with the DR 50 and registration cards. I confess, I sold some Montblanc pens to buy the APO 50 LHSA last year, so retro and appropriate. The pens had appreciated so much in the last thirty years that it amounted to a huge discount on the APO I couldn't pass up. I'm getting a lot more mileage out of the APO than pens sitting in a drawer.

Hi guys,

I've been reading this thread for a while now, and there are amazing images posted by you.

So, yesterday I developed my first roll of film, shot with my (new to me) Leica M4-P and 7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 ASPH. Film was Delta 100. I scanned the image with a Plustek 7600i with Silverfast 9 SE Plus

Happy New Year film friends! What a feast it's been to go through all the pages I have missed during the holidays. Fantastic photography all around. I hope you and your families are well and wish for you that '21 will be everything good '20 wasn't and nothing bad that it was.

This is in some way an invisible triptych. It's a panorama I made of three frames shot at the beginning of last summer on the way to the beach where we live. I really need to get myself a 6x17 camera because I am fascinated by that format...

Thanks Antonio. this was a dead apple tree, one of the last in an abandoned orchard. I bet I took 20 photos of the tree, with about as many cameras and films, over the course of a couple years. It was a very illusive image. While I think this was the best of the bunch, I was was never able to get exactly what I  envisioned. The tree finally wend down a couple months ago.

Best,

Wayne
