Got to honest in not really going gaga over old planes, but this was special, and yes the sound of the two Merlins raised the hairs a bit, few left on my head and the rest in other places. They were off for a photo shoot with an old Harvard. The KittyHawk was parked close by. At the same airfield (yet more maintenance) yesterday and the resident Spitfire taxied past and took off. Again the photographer is showing good composition by including the steps in the foreground. And of course the tatty frame edge adds to this, it's so in keeping. We can each make our own story here. I'm wondering if that's a spy disembarking, the nonchalant sort of spy. 2

There are no flowers around this trampled dirt tarmac, so it's safe for the next four minutes, one can gamble.
