More "kid havin' fun in a candy store" stuff.

This to me looks like a ceramic tile with a pattern of an exotic swatch from the waters of the Dead Sea (LOL)

:)  :)  :)  I learned from the best in this thread  :)  :)  :)

If I remember correctly, I used f/8 and about 20 to 30 sec. exposure time (counting in my balding head...). This is another one from that evening:

Equally great.

The strong blues and grain give the image a real film feel.

I come across people on FB who are purists and anti-color shift about everything.  I really don't understand them!!  I even had to look up what "color shift" really is.  And I still don't understand them!

the only person I can see who would try to drive you out is Mark Penny after he sees what you are doing with that camera that is not supposed to be in the same class as Mark's Contax T3 :) :)

A rare trip to Walmart yesterday resulted in a  a new furry friend.....Pedro, a "rescue" chihuahua. I was making a quick dash for the check-out, came around a corner, and there he was. Took a few minutes to pet and scratch, and had to say a regretful farewell. Here he is motoring off to the toy department.

I would like to introduce you Kuki. Unfortunately I don't have a nice story like Wayne and I would not say that Kuki and I are good friends. She is, let me say, ... very special. She is a crazy little dog ... but so funny!

Thank you for your kind words. The Minilux is a real gem and much fun to use. Its lens has a fantastic quality and its exposure is almost every time spot on. It might have its flaws (tiny viewfinder, shortest exposure time of 1/400s, no memory for the latest settings), but it is solid as a tank, easy to handle and tiny compared to many other cameras, even my beloved Leica M4-P or M3. I have managed to get a lot of really beautiful pictures on my road trip and will be able to print a wonderful book for me and my son.

This is another shot from Paris:

That's a wow shot, James. The colors are so nice and the exposure is quite difficult to nail.

Really nice Edward.  If these don't bring back Henry, I think we should call Interpol!!

Well done, Edward.  Shoot more Tri-X!

Very nice, Edward.  Love the colors of Ektar.  May I ask where this is?

Thank you very much Adam. Much appreciated :)

As for the last shot, it's in Lebanon, about 75 minutes drive to the north of Beirut. Probably reminds you of your vacations last month :)

Here are a few from the same location.
