philipus Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39049 Posted August 26, 2017 A very nice series, Edward. The first two below are particularly good, I think. Incidentally, I bought the Billingham Eventer insert which you recommended earlier. It's truly terrific. Thanks for pointing me to it. br Philip One more set: M7-Distagon 1.4/35 ZM-Portra 160 by edward karaa, on Flickr M7-Distagon 1.4/35 ZM-Portra 160 by edward karaa, on Flickr M7-Distagon 1.4/35 ZM-Portra 160 by edward karaa, on Flickr M7-Distagon 1.4/35 ZM-Portra 160 by edward karaa, on Flickr M7-Distagon 1.4/35 ZM-Portra 160 by edward karaa, on Flickr

Stealth3kpl Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39053 Posted August 26, 2017 One of the things I love about film is, when you've had a film in a camera for a while, you forget what's on it. This was Fuji Superia 200 and I think must be out of date. It was in my Leica 111f which I fancy as my ski touring mechanical film camera, replacing a very beat up Olympus OM1. This was an image taken on a day we sat out a snow storm which stopped play. The lens was a Voigtlander 35 f2.5 Color Skopar, and the scanner Kodak Pakon F135+. Pete Welcome, dear visitor! Stealth3kpl Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39054 Posted August 26, 2017 I was working in a town called Whitehaven which has a very interesting history and was once one of the busiest ports in England. What do I mean by interesting history? Well, it was the site of an attack on the English on English soil by the United States Of America. You didn't know that did you!http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/john-paul-jones-leads-american-raid-on-whitehaven-england I took my 111f thinking I ought to finish the film that has been sitting in it for nearly 2 years. At lunch time I took a walk about town. In a small park, there was man hacking away at some overgrowth with his walking stick. Welcome, dear visitor! Stealth3kpl Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39055 Posted August 26, 2017 I learned that he was clearing the growth from covering the name of his dearly departed on the plaque on the wall. This image shows some lens flare, I hope, rather than evidence of a hole in the shutter curtain. What do you think? Welcome, dear visitor! Stealth3kpl Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39056 Posted August 26, 2017 I spent my dinner break using some secateurs to reach up to cut the highest stems of ivy to buy him some more time. Stealth3kpl Posted August 26, 2017 Share #39057 Posted August 26, 2017 (edited) I wandered down to the harbour - the sight of the invasion, and finished the film. The harbour shot shows that patch of flare again. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
