Doc Henry Posted July 27, 2017 Author Share #37081 Posted July 27, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I shot this film two weeks ago, Henry. I quite do stick to the same film, sometimes I change for Ilford as there's still quite a stock of it in the fridge. And I'd love to test this Italian film, - I saw pics a couple of days that were amazing in my eyes. But is this Italian brand film commercialized now ? By the way, I always would love to say "wow" to so many of You - I hope You understand my "thanks" that way. I most of the time come here after hard working days, so it is difficult sometimes to be not to tired to make comments to this or that picture. But it is a real source of pleasure and inspiration to be here. Jean-Marie I am glad the thread relax you .... Thank you Henry

Sparkassenkunde Posted July 27, 2017 Share #37091 Posted July 27, 2017 Very nice James. Where have you found Centuria? Very nice colours I think. br Philip Thank you, Philip! I sometimes buy larger collections of out of stock or long expired films from eBay, this Centuria came with one of these purchases. I like to experiment with different films and don't bother, if there are some faults.

gbealnz Posted July 27, 2017 Share #37093 Posted July 27, 2017 What a view you have from your office! Isn't it supposed to be winter time down there, looks good enough to be in a summer holiday brochure! Yes, decent view, mind you not always like that. It is winter, this was taken over summer, and a few years ago at that. Grew up having summer holidays and virtually every weekend at or near here. stray cat Posted July 28, 2017 Share #37095 Posted July 28, 2017 Very cool composition Phil. The road repair equivalent of a crime scene chalk line. Excellent natural-looking portrait Dan. The Summitar is a very nice lens. br Philip Beautiful grain Phil stone well reproduced by Kodak TX Beautiful grey tone with "nuance" Thank you Best Henry I like the shot. It was not until I thought about the focal length that I became absorbed in the accuracy. I am impressed. Contractors to follow? Thanks, Wayne Thank you so much Henry, Philip and Wayne. Yes I was most definitely attracted by the "crime scene" aspect of it, and also in the crudely drawn lines which reminded me a bit of the pictures observed by people like Aaron Siskind and Brassaï and others. No road crew photos unfortunately though Wayne - it was raining from memory, and this was taken through our hotel window - we tried to spend as little time there as possible. The holes (and lines) were still there when we left. More from the R5, 35mm Elmarit-R & Acros 100 first test roll. The Way Ahead I've been meaning to comment Keith - I think you've found your tool! These photos with the new gear are stunning - especially this one. To be out and about in such beautiful and picturesque summertime countryside with such a great photographic tool - you must have to pinch yourself sometimes! And you are making the most of it (it will also be great for those moody wintertime shots as well, mind you!).

And to think, the camera and Elmarit probably cost less too. I'm finding the same with my SL, my R6 and my R lenses. Plus I am happier with the SLR style, the M I found increasingly difficult. Guest )-( Posted July 28, 2017 Share #37100 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) Love all the landscapes. You have one big advantage over us all there Gary. I've never seen anyone (yet) put a film camera on a drone. And another out the office window shot. The rock is locally known as "Split Apple Rock", I think many moons ago I posted a sea level shot of it, I'll see if I can find it. ETRSi 80mm Agfa RS100 Epson 4870 Gary Love the flow from boat to house and beyond. The Way Ahead Lovely HP5 Henry, and the contre-jour gives it flavour, not lots of 1-1-1-1-1-1 white pixels and an overly dark foreground.
