Wayne Posted April 1, 2017 Share #29941 Posted April 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Pensive looking daughter at Dunster Castle in Somerset. T-max 400 and 28 Summaron-M. Spectacular photograph.........I think of my twin girls, now 25 years old. At this age, they were always with me. I did not appreciate it as much as I should have. It never occurred to me, until now, I could have requisitioned space in their shoulder bags for extra gear. Nah! They never would have gone for it.

rpavich Posted April 1, 2017 Share #29943 Posted April 1, 2017 Took a trip to a local attraction; Cool springs Park. It's really just a general store with some trains and farm equipment outside and a few animals but it was fun anyway. It was raining the whole time we were there. Here is the contact sheet and a print. For the contact sheet: 15 seconds @ f/5.6Y=50 M=70For the print:19 seconds at f/8Y=50 M=70

gbealnz Posted April 1, 2017 Share #29947 Posted April 1, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for your proposition Gary. I think it'll be nice for landscape You say it's heavy and prominent at the back ... not good for digital like M8 it can touch the sensor ... and in addition need a separate finder so many conditions all this Henry Pluses and minuses Henry. The fact it is not good for digital will be a plus for you, although I don't think it will touch the sensor. It certainly doesn't touch the film. The separate finder makes me wonder if I would be better locating the R equivalent, and using it with the SL. I had the SA21mm R lens quite a few years ago, it was nice, quite big but nice. I'm finding the M is suited to 35/50, and the R for anything else, I like the reflex viewing. I wouldn't want to travel with the SL and a couple of lenses though!!! My old Leicaflex SL and ancient 50mm or 35mm Summicron is as nice or nicer to use. Oh boy. Gary Gary do like me , I have 4 analog Leica now and I have a choice b&w in one , color in another -no conversion color in b&w as purist ... it's still cheaper than an M10 no ? with this money saved , you can buy more film ... and travel .... that said M is still a discrete camera and good for SP and SLR for nature flowers Best H Edited April 1, 2017 by Doc Henry
