All sweet pastries with lots of honey, sugar, rosewater, filo dough, pistachios and other nuts. Basic middle eastern delicasies The second photo shows on of the date sellers. There are different varieties depending on what type of terrain they come from (the dry hot desert, arid, humid, etc)

Suede Posted January 11, 2017 Share #25947 Posted January 11, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) No 2 I like this photograph, Adam. I remember trying to take a similar one in Marrakech, probably in 2013. I'll never forget the kerfuffle that ensued after I took the first shot. Some local people react with excess hostility to photographers in Marrakech.
philipus Posted January 11, 2017 Share #25948 Posted January 11, 2017 Nice shot Gary and very well developed and scanned too. M6 28 Elmarit Fomapan 200 R09 1:50 Plustek 8100 Gary Thank you Adam. And that must have been a truly horrific half hour. I accidentally put my parents through a similar thing in Cologne in the 80s which my mother still talks about. I just love the rendition of this shot. Reminds me of the time we lost our then 5 year old in the crowd on the Coney Island beach and found him after about 30 lifeless minutes. That was the last family time we had at that beach! Very nice, Philip. One of Provia's strengths is its LE potential w/o reciprocity failure. Up to 1 minute, I believe!
