Some of you might be interested in my Instagram feed where I am posting daily some of my film-based work, including some original Kodalith prints. These images range from the late 1960's to now and have been taken with various cameras including a Leica CM (Leica content :) ).

Thanks Philip

nice landscape in 1 and 2

Nice architecture (picture 3) of typical pagoda roof in  VN and I like the walker in background :)

Very original picture and superb color in the 4

and the blur of bike makes a picture in 5

Which film I think it's Fuji ?

Thank you very much :)

It's all Kodak Portra 160 and 400. But I assume because I use a fuji frontier sp500 scanner they might have a hint of "fuji look" to them ;)

Keeler, coming into the harbour in my old home town.

Film is EC100 (Ektachrome I think?).

Engine from one of the previous helicopters I flew being overhauled.

Film is unknown, all it has is "570 40" written on it,

And one last shot, from tonight's smorgasbord.

My dear wife, a few years ago, sewing a quilt together.

Kodak E100VS (again, Ektachrome I believe).

My main issue with digital is the rendition of red. Also, for street photography the chance 'snap-shot' is sometimes missed in camera start up, unlike my M2 here. I'll continue to shoot mostly digital for workflow and the other reasons, but film has something special for me too.

What "work"flow reason is there? Do you depend on photography for your living?

Zipper thanks for sharing with us and welcome :) Nice Place Tien an Men in color !

About red , you know I love poppies. When I take with my M digital I am not satisfied

the red of poppies is "arterial blood" color and only film can reproduce this

Here the real red of poppies and for Zipper :)

You can believe me because each year at May June I shoot poppies for the beauty

of this flower and for the red as I mentioned in my last post.

I can show you again in comparison with M digit (already posted above)

Kodak Portra 160

(dev home Tetenal 30°C)

Leica M7

Apo Summicron 90 Asph

enjoy the red of poppies with "soft" line and edges of the picture similar a painting :)

"not agressive" or "cutting" edges of digital photo type "cigarette paper" of poppies (too thin and "flat")

That said , you are right if needed to continue in digital . No problem !

another red in Kodak Portra 400

The development of the film is also important to get nice colors :)

but the start of the shooting with good equipment is also important :)
Look at photos of Adam :)
