too old to care Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18162 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Wayne nice series specially these two last pictures. Where is it ? Best Henry Wayne nice series specially these two last pictures. Where is it ? Best Henry Those three shots were taken in the streets just outside the Church of The Condemnation in Jerusalem. The one with the lady is just in front of the entrance to her right. The other two are just up the street. I was walking from the Western Wall (just before the Dome of the Rock) on the way to the Church of The Condemnation. Attached is another photo from the series. Walk through the opening on the left, past the Dome of the Rock, and you are close to the church. Welcome, dear visitor! too old to care Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18164 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) And one more from just outside the walls of Jerusalem. I had to pay him to take his photo. He wanted to give me a ride too, but I declined. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! too old to care Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18165 Posted July 8, 2016 ...at the baltic sea.... Nienhagen (1 von 2).jpg M4 + CBiogon 2,8/35 - CMS20 I love shots like this. Yesterday I shot a roll of film on our local golf course with the sun coming up and shining through the trees. I have yet to develop the film, but I do hope they come out nearly as nice as this.

williamgm Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18167 Posted July 8, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Many years ago one of my (many) travel commissions was a trip to the Middle East, starting in Lebanon, then to Syria & ending in Jordan. These two are from Lebanon, a guide in Baalbek and the ruins at Anjar. I took both 35mm and 6x6 cameras (Nikon & Hasselblad), and these are Hasselblad shots on Velvia, scanned on an Imacon. Wonderful trip which would take too long to cover in detail (and rather poignant in view of events in Syria). Welcome, dear visitor! Doc Henry Posted July 8, 2016 Author Share #18171 Posted July 8, 2016 Very nice series, Rob. Like Henry I especially like the fourth, which I find is shot from an appealing angle. My 1N appears to be giving up the ghost so I'm on the hunt for a 1V now. br Philip Henry really love the tones you're getting from that Portra! Thanks Rira and Philip Here another for you. philipus Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18174 Posted July 8, 2016 I like the portrait in particular, William. Very natural. williamgm Posted July 8, 2016 Share #18175 Posted July 8, 2016 Outstanding pictures well defined and superb color The scanner has a part in this nice rendering and William welcome to our thread with Micheal Best Henry Henry, Thank you for your kind comments. The Imacom scanner was a pleasure to use, but unfortunately it was only on loan at the time from a very helpful Hasselblad area representative. Consequently, I had to try to scan as much as possible in a very short time, so it was a steep learning curve! Looking back on them now, I can see ways they might be improved but at least I still have all the original transparencies and negatives from many years of professional work. I do look on eBay from time to time but they rarely appear for sale; the trouble is, once you have used one nothing else will do. I do (fortunately) have many scans still saved so I might post others from time to time. As well as missing the Imacon, I also miss all my Hasselblad equipment, especially the wonderful SWC. Best wishes

Best wishes Mathias thanks for your reply. You have many scanner brands like flatbed Epson V700 or 750 and also Plustek for 6x6 All these scan can be purchased now in second hand. One V700 is around 200-250 Euros mint condition (in France).I don't know Canon but Wayne or Gary can help you here. Thanks again for posting.
