Advertisement Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Hi gsgary, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Trev Posted March 26, 2016 Share #12922 Posted March 26, 2016 Just got my colour scans back for UK Film Lab form the Chatsworth and Sandbeck Park hunts, 10 years out of date Fuji 160S shot on the GW690 Sandbeck Hunt "Anyone for a whiskey" they usually hand out Port Our horse in the white outfit Gary, the shot showing your horse. Hope you don't mind but I downloaded it to see if I could make a mask for the horse using photoshop/calculations. Then using curves I was able to make a burn layer and bring some detail back. Plenty more in that scan I'm sure. (I'm convinced that the default photoshop burn tool is useless) Naturally I've deleted my effort. It was just for fun.

EoinC Posted March 27, 2016 Share #12934 Posted March 27, 2016 Low tide. Hasselblad 503cw Fuji Velvia 50 iso This one is perhaps my favourite of your series so far, Steve. The sand in the foreground looks alive.
A miller Posted March 27, 2016 Share #12935 Posted March 27, 2016 Low tide. Hasselblad 503cw Fuji Velvia 50 iso I'd be interested to see a version with the appropriate magenta lens filter that corrects for the magenta cast that is characteristic of this film at long exposures... It seems quite complicated to keep up with this M filter one needs to use as Fuji seems to recommend a different one for every 15-30 second increment in exposure time...
