Maybe it is the beautiful twin of Gotham Yes Adam magic and wonderful color like in a fairy tale , hum , not Batman , it reminded me your Trump Best Henry Many thanks, Trev, Marc and Henry. Henry - Yes, you can see a few "Trumps" in this skyline. Soon they may be coming to a skyline near you...
A miller Posted March 1, 2016 Share #12063 Posted March 1, 2016 "Religion and security" Tmax 400, MP, Summarit 35 best regards Marc very exotic and alluring, Marc. Wädenswil - Ilford XP2 film by -Ric Capucho- Wädenswil - Ilford XP2 film by -Ric Capucho- Wädenswil - Ilford XP2 film by -Ric Capucho- Wädenswil - Ilford XP2 film by -Ric Capucho- A few more from that foggy day... when the fog is just transparent enough, it gives me a depth of field effect that I very much like. So, no, it's not always foggy around my neck o' the woods, but you'll see me fumbling for a camera whenever the fog descends. Usually, we have bright, sunny skies - in fact bright, sunny and transparent enough to totally overwhelm b&w film. Ric you (and Henry) are a master of fog. I would have thought that the HP5 would serve you well here...? Guest JMF Posted March 1, 2016 Share #12069 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) I'm now in the lull between having the basement torn out and the insurance company approving estimates for repairs, so a little chemical consolation is in order. The second reminds me of photographs take in the early 20th century by Beakins off the south of England. They were known as Beacons of Cowes and their sailing pictures are wonderful. dgc Posted March 1, 2016 Share #12076 Posted March 1, 2016 An architecturally-inspired twin-span segmental masonry arched bridge over the Aray with a conspicuous oculus (cylindrical opening) through the spandrel over the central pier. This feature enables the bridge to escape the unattractive appearance offered by two equal spans of 65 ft, referred to as an ‘unresolved duality’ in architecture. The setting helps of course!! Wonderful tonal range. Was the sun shining on the bridge - it is very bright and a very informative study of the bridge (or was there an information board in front of you where you could copy that down!).

Keith (M) Posted March 1, 2016 Share #12078 Posted March 1, 2016 I like this shot. It has wonderful tonality and a very pleasant composition. I might have post-processed a bit to make the flowers stand out slightly more but the image also 'works' as it is now. br Philip Thanks for the suggestion, Philip. Your wish is my command...
