This is a portrait of me with my M6 and 35mm Summarit taken by my wife.

The film is Fuji Superia that expired 8 years ago in 2008 (might have been 2006 also) and stand developed at room temp in a C-41 kit.

It's a bit grainy and the colors are a bit wonky but this is the normal outcome with this film batch from what I've experienced. I can't complain too much, I got 60 rolls for 50.00 shipped. I use it to practice things with and for throw-away shots like this.

I developed it for 1 hour  and 10 minutes at 17c @ 1:9 dilution for the developer.

The blix was used for 40 minutes at 17c

Then I did the stabilizing at normal time.

This is roll #24 through this batch of chemicals at this point. I purchased them in October 2015. I keep them in dark colored Jobo 1000ml bottles and top them off with Tetenal inert gas spray before capping them off.

For me, it's the B&W shot. It leaves more to the imagination.

RP the skin is nice but the green a little "washed out" IMO

Must correct it , no ?

Otherwise , good work :  more one hour for the development

great patience  :)

Best

Henry

Yeah...that's how this film looks, it's not a big deal to me. It is what it is. :)

The stand developing doesn't take much effort. You put the developer in, and then go watch TV for an hour. At the 1, 2 and 3 minute mark, I agitated for 30 seconds.

That's it.

I lent my daughter my M6 with a roll of Tri-X whilst she was in Adelaide, competing in the Australian Track Cycling Champ's. Here's one of the shots she took, which I really like...

No prizes for guessing where I was with TheBigBeast (aka Fuji GW690) yesterday ;)  Medium yellow filter, Acros 100 & Rodinal 1:50.

Yes I should tidy up that crop, I wanted the tops on the LHS not cropped, cut it too fine.

An architecturally-inspired twin-span segmental masonry arched bridge over the Aray with a conspicuous oculus (cylindrical opening) through the spandrel over the central pier. This feature enables the bridge to escape the unattractive appearance offered by two equal spans of 65 ft, referred to as an ‘unresolved duality’ in architecture. The setting helps of course!!

I like the reflections in this one, very well done Chris. The 90 E-M is a great lens.

A second shot from yesterday's stroll in Ashton Keynes.  An attempt to separate the daffodils from the water & bridge by using a large aperture on the GW690II.

I'm now in the lull between having the basement torn out and the insurance company approving estimates for repairs, so a little chemical consolation is in order. After a couple of weeks I wasn't sure if I could remember how!

SWC, Portra 400, Unicolor presskit, X1 scans:
