Doc Henry Posted February 23, 2016 Author Share #11769 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Jean Marc very nice color specially the first and the second pictures When I think that President Mitterrand who built this pyramid * in the middle of the castle of the Louvrereceived plenty of criticism at the time, I think it's wonderful this marriage between modern and old style. * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louvre_Pyramid Li Pei and Le Louvre Paris Kodak Portra 400 Leica MP Summilux 35 Asph Welcome, dear visitor! christoph_d Posted February 23, 2016 Share #11775 Posted February 23, 2016 Because I can't afford the expensive Leica lenses yet Leica lenses are NOT a precondition to making good pictures as you (and others) amply prove here... And there are quite a few voigtländers (some sadly discontinued ) that have no comparison in the Leica stable ... I agree though that Leica lenses are very nice indeed Rgds C.

A miller Posted February 23, 2016 Share #11780 Posted February 23, 2016 Adam some technical questions What flash have you ? Leica SF24 or another brand ? for exposition you are at 1/100 or less on your M-A ? Thanks Henry yes, the SF24 and the flash setting on the shutter (I think 1/45), holding the camera as tight as I can! Definitely Bruce Guilden in colour Gary - I view this quite simply as a form of "macro" photography...like Henry's photos of the bees and flowers
