Doc Henry Posted January 11, 2016 Author Share #9461 Posted January 11, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi It is useful for me to have both too ;-) but digital often stays in my bag IMG_20151107_0011-Modifier-2.jpg If and Super Angulon 21 / 4. I do not remember the film (I will check) but it was 400 asa (High iso is more practical without any rangefinder, because I am using zone focussing with my 21mm), developed in Berspeed At "La Bambouseraie" - Anduze - Gard - France Very nice Milou Rg Henry

Doc Henry Posted January 11, 2016 Author Share #9463 Posted January 11, 2016 T-max 100 is far and away my favourite film, irrespective (or perhaps because of) its "atrocious response curve". I particularly favour it for my (more serious) landscape work. A recent example below shows a view looking south from the higher ground above Winterbourne Abbas in Dorset. A bronze age barrow can be seen in the right foreground, the Hardy Monument (dedicated to the "kiss me Hardy" admiral rather than his namesake, the more famous author) is also visible on the horizon behind. Doc Henry Posted January 11, 2016 Author Share #9468 Posted January 11, 2016 I started this year with only one new years resolution. I want to start developing my own Black an White film at home in 2016. I order a "Starter Kit" with Rodinal and planned to shot a few cheap test films from my local drug store to start with. Nevertheless I couldn't wait anymore and developed a Tri-X @ 1600 full of great shots. I failed. -.- Maybe you noticed my thread in the darkroom area... Thanks to the Forum I know what I got wrong and shot a cheap drug store film to give it a second try I think it worked quite well. As always, M6 with 35 Summicron IV and yellow filter. Shot on APX 100. Wish you all a happy new year, Max! Max stunning pictures in b&w Bravo Best Henry

Doc Henry Posted January 11, 2016 Author Share #9473 Posted January 11, 2016 I'm in scan mode again, sans Minolta, as explained these are with the T, and BEOON, plus Apo Rodagon. These from old Hasselblad and Fuji RDP, beautiful film. The two subjects are aged 35 and 31 now, so this was a "while ago". A miller Posted January 12, 2016 Share #9477 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) So here's one for you: A few weeks ago, I was in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn for my weekly Friday morning Challah run (you have no idea...more on that later) and I spent a few minutes wandering around the very diverse neighborhood and found myself on a subway platform that I discovered had a magnificent view of the Williamsburg bridge. I had my M-A, 28mm elmarit pre-ash and some pushed portra 400 and took this photograph to mark my spot: Welcome, dear visitor! So what did you think I said to myself? "Man, I'll bet this scene would look amazing at the crack of dawn - on a 6x9 sheet of Ektar!" So the following Friday morning I returned to the same spot a little before dawn with my tripod, longer focal length (about 80mm in 35mm FL terms, the longest I have) and 6x9 Ektar. Here are a couple of photos from the morning. Let me know if you like either: Edited January 12, 2016 by A miller
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! I prefer the first of these two except it's a shame that the passing train obscured the complex array of tracks. Regards, Mark btw what 6x9 camera & lens do you use?
