I think Bill outdid me on the painful discourse from earlier today.  No amount of popcorn could have drawn me in to that (inside joke).  Thank goodness it is behind us.

Back to holiday activities, like shopping!

Ric , as you show here , no need to spend a fortune to have cameras that rise to 25,000 Isos , a folly !

Make night photos for being like day. How useful ?  and this distorts a night photography that remains beautiful ...

We live in a great time !

Well done Ric

Thanks

Best

Henry

I couldn't agree more with your observation, Doc Henry. Making night look like day with high iso! Untruthful light.

Yes , night is night and if you like a real night picture try a KodakTX

I mean the atmosphere very important in a picture

Taken this summer on a motorcycling holiday, sometime late August 2015, with FM3a and Voigtlander 40mm/f2. The film, unfortunately, unknown - but not exotic.

Mende, Languedoc-Roussillon, Southern France.

I/we do Henry, but possibly not as spectacular as some of the overseas ones, the tallest here is about 12500' so quite modest compared.

And capping that off, I am domiciled in the upper North Island, with "most" of the spectacular scenery in the South Island.

One day..............

Hi all,

As for film vs digital, I never left film photography but tried my hand on a Fuji x100. Nice little thing but not for me.

Didn't keep it very long.

Even in film cameras I made my choise. After many years shooting only Hasselblads and Rolleiflexs I finally am back in the Leica world.

Traded my amazing Rolleiflex 3.5f white face against a freshly cla'd M3 ds with a summicron v4.

Great to be back here
