I can see that this will be better with slower films and lots of outdoor light.

Chris

very interesting, Chris.  The grain on the Delta 3200 sure does get accentuated with digitization, much more so than would be on an analog print.  They are are very well exposed the second of your lovely wife is particularly lovely.

Yep, another expensive hobby. But I could make all my photo equipment dreams come true for the price of a single pre-moon Speedmaster. So on reflection, nowhere near as expensive. Or that's what I tell my wife, anyway. :-)

That is an incredible shot, what an atmosphere!!

The colours are drawing you in the scene, expecting something to happen every moment now.

But that is just the 'Wim Wenders' in me...

My compliments.

Have to put a roll of film again in my R7....

I like your b+w shots Rick, esp. nos 1 and 2 in the first post and the first one in the second.

Here's one from this summer on Gotland. The usual Hasselblad kit and Provia 400X (wet mount).

Very cool, Philip. Love the exciting color palette and controlled highlights

(Which is particularly hard with this film)

A few recent ones. Tri-X, Tmax-100 and Poundland film respectively (I think). All 35 Summicron ASPH (the only lens I use at the moment).

All are wonderful, Ian. Thanks for sharing. Can you provide some more detail regarding the "poundland" film? I have never heard of it... It looks amazing, though

Thank you.

The Poundland film is Agfa Vista 200 (I think reboxed Fuji) that is sold in a UK high street discount chain for £1 per roll. It's good stuff and I rather prefer it for colour than Portra.

Very interesting. Thanks for the info. I'll have to look for some when I am back in London next week...

Fabulous, as usual, Marc.  I really don't know why any model would want to be shot with anything other than film, particularly w/ B&W.

Looking forward to the next...

Thank you very much for your kind words Adam. You are right, at the beginning most of the girls are very unsure about film, but when they have the print in their hands, they really like it.

best regards

Marc

I really like it! It looks so three dimensional. If you look at the photo you may think that you can jump into it

Andreas, Adam, thank you very much. This was on the same occasion as I shot the long exposure star trails. Turning my attention away from the stars I saw the light spilling from the left around the bend at the back of the church.
