Morning sun on Loch Lubnaig Scotland, Silvermax, Pyrocat HD semi stand, ZM Distagon 35mm f1.4, M2

I am sure the sun would not have rendered as gracefully on digital.

I confirm and having every detail in both the shadow in the background that the light in the foreground

Thanks to film to well reproduce the moment *  and thank you Chris for this proof by photo

Nice picture with a beautiful balance of image :)

Beautiful rendering

... and you are welcome :)

Best regards

Henry

Someone who photographed in digital M Leica for 5 years

* simple reason  : dynamic of film greater than sensor , specially in "contre jour"

Here are 4 shots of the NYC skyline that I took at different times during a morning a couple of weeks ago.

Film is Kodak Ektar and film size is 6cmX9cm

I used a variety of lens filters to help with the effect...

Great photos Adam. I particularly like the colours of nos 3 and 4.

Here's remembering this year's summer which by any definition wasn't great, at least where I happened to be. Made for dramatic skies and sunsets, though :). This one is from Höganäs in southern Sweden.

Adam -- Love the first one. In the late 50s early 60s this was the main postcard view of Manhattan, midtown across the East River. Probably because the UN building was so new. Reason why I like the first one, reminds me of those post cards.
