philipus Posted July 29, 2015 Share #6081 Posted July 29, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Adam, wondered the same a while back and received helpful advice in this thread. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/203516-how-childproof-is-developing-at-home/ Br Philip Thanks very much, Philip. My lab did the development and I don't what the workflow is. I am not allowed to develop my film at home out of concern for my kids' safety

A miller Posted July 29, 2015 Share #6083 Posted July 29, 2015 As Adam M is posting a number of stunning Hasselblad & Linhoff images, I thought it only fair to sing the praises of a TLR (in this instance, my Rolleicord Vb). Clicking on the link will take you to a small gallery of seven shots from my latest roll (Ilford FP4+). Views From The Ridgeway Keith - These are all wonderful and all display a keen eye for composition. I look forward to seeing more! A miller Posted July 29, 2015 Share #6084 Posted July 29, 2015 Hi Adam, wondered the same a while back and received helpful advice in this thread. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/203516-how-childproof-is-developing-at-home/ Br Philip Thanks, Philip. I will have another go at this with my wife but the odds of any progress are extremely slim to nil...

A miller Posted July 29, 2015 Share #6086 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) Lower Manhattan (across the street from SBLITZ's office and a block away from mine). Thousands of shots of this cube are taken every day. But this perspective with a super wide angle is, IMHO, the most interesting as the cube appears to have been launched and in flight towards your lap The brilliance of Ektar's rendition of RED really shines here, I think... Many people have difficulty getting consistently brilliant results from Ektar. Based on what I have read and my own experience, the key for consistent brilliant results with the Ektar is to expose correctly and not to ETTR. I find that more than a half stop too much exposure risks losing the balanced and brilliant color palette. I have even heard people say that they rate this film at 80 ISO instead of 100 as that is its native ISO, which I am trying (although this shot was rated at 100.) Hassy SWC/M Welcome, dear visitor! sblitz Posted July 29, 2015 Share #6092 Posted July 29, 2015 Adam -- Terrific shot! Just shot off a roll of Ektar 100, like you I have been re-reading because I was never happy with it in the past. As you wrote, everyone says DO NOT OVEREXPOSE, the opposite of what I normally do with Portra (shoot 400 as if it is 160 film in daylight and 400 otherwise). Chose my old Canon TL-QL and FL lens because it is TTL metering and the meter was always great in that camera (plus my MA was just loaded with film -- yes, I know, I need a second film camera). Will see in a couple of days how they came out. Your shots make me excited to see. Best, Steve PS thanks for showing my office building and not my waistline! :-)
