MAX Posted July 27, 2015 Share #6061  Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Max , my thermometer is up slightly to the right, in back ground, of the photo between develop.(rev.) and stab.bottle All my bottles are at 38 ° C when I develop (verified by the thermometer in each bottle) important for the developer and the stabilizer. I stop the revelation with acetic acid (ac.ac.) diluted 1/10   Dev. C41 Tetenal color film  L1016510m8me90devkplf+++900.jpg  M8 Macro Elmar 90  Best Henry   all right. A medical thermometer goes up to 40 degrees. That the Rondinax is only for MAX 25 - 30 degrees.   I have times when one of my Rondinax doses only by cleaning with warm water! ( not hot ) the thermometer destroyed.  This one i can use it now for C-41 Prozess  Edited July 27, 2015 by MAX

Doc Henry Posted July 27, 2015 Author Share #6062  Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Hi Max , my thermometer goes up to 100°C but I'll try next time to work at 30°C as i said to Chris , but "5 minutes" for time development. "That the Rondinax is only for MAX 25 - 30 degrees." so it's better you develop at 30°C !    I'll be away for a few days mountain biking. Continue dear Gentleman to post your photos, I'll watch your photos on my iPhone but can not post my photos. I'll bring you back film pictures of course  Nice holiday to All. A miller Posted July 27, 2015 Share #6067  Posted July 27, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice photo, Adam. How was it developed? Thanks very much, Philip.  My lab did the development and I don't what the workflow is.  I am not allowed to develop my film at home out of concern for my kids' safety

Sparkassenkunde Posted July 27, 2015 Share #6069 Â Posted July 27, 2015 Great scene and the square format of your Hassy suits really good. I like the fact that one is drawn to the center due to the diagonal lines. Nice colors as usual

A miller Posted July 28, 2015 Share #6072  Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) nice picture Miller, not using M-A these days? Thanks a lot. The short answer is that I have been taking advantage of the extra time that I have in the mornings (given that my kids are at summer camp and I don't need to take them to school) and I have been using my Hasselblad and Linhof Technika Press. The Hassy is quite compact but the Linhof is a bear to carry and so my Leicas have thus been taking a break (except for yesterday morning when I took it and my 135MM tele-elmar to the Brooklyn bridge). I find that for these land/cityscapes it is really good to have the larger size film. It allows for more resolution and detail and also for a greater degree of editing/dodge and burn. So I have been having fun with it and have been learning a lot about how film photography works. Plus, MarkP called me a one-trick pony who only knows how to shoot people in the face at close range...
