Now with Kodak Portra 400

and my new MP (serial number made in 2015)

Summilux 35 Asph

I visited this pagoda few days ago in South of France.

Once again, the manual exposure measurement is more accurate than with the m7.

M7 has exposure measurement auto

Yes Marc, with MP , you must do yourself , so it's good for my brain :D

The manual measurement is terrible and the exposure is different in some photos

Hi Henry,

I like very much all your recent street photographs when you use 35mm or 28mm lens.  I don't know what changed from your first efforts at street photography, but there is more confidence and the images show much strength, as well as joy of the photographer in his image.

Thank you for your kind comment DF

Yes in fact it is the expression across the face which is important

either we take by surprise as does Adam Miller

either we take the photo naturally in their habit (the case of this picture)

Not easy in fact :)

... but what I like about the film is that the photos do not need correction

Hi Henry - you are getting better, for sure. But you lose the ability to frame your shot when you shoot from the hip like that. Consequently, you lose a big part of the creative process. Please please try to gather the courage to apply the same great framing expertise that you wow us with your landscapes to the compoaition of these street photos. You have the power and legal right :) to decide exactly what should in (and out) of the frame, and shooting people in a very quick candid style can be a very fun and exhilarating challenge in this regard. :)

All the best,

Adam
