Thanks Kanz for posting , very nice colors , the Portra 400 one of my favorite film

I found the negative of a photo that I like :)

When I was on a humanitarian mission (volunteer) as a physician, in a village in Laos, I treated that old Laotian woman

who suffered from "gout" (disease), she was glad that I was giving her medicine and thanked me. As she had a lot of

pain, I gave her an injection. She is very nice and always smiling

I will soon leave for another humanitarian mission and you will not see me for 1 month.

I will be again in villages far from cities. I will not have computer and access to LUF

Have a safe trip Henry. Perhaps you could write a little piece about your adventure on your return?

Pete

Thank you Pete :)

it will be on next February .... fortunately I'm immune against mosquito bites.:)

As camera I bring my M7, M8 (my M9 has a problem -microspots on sensor-

and will leave soon for Solms, it will not travel)

I'm glad, I do not have a problem with dust on the film sensor M7 :D

My R8 will also be with me as a backup camera.

All this equipment in a backpack !

Thanks Karl for looking :)

In the village is good time but still very hot. We are still in the tropics

To thank us, the villagers gave us coconut juice

It is refreshing that juice !

In the villages , outside the city, Lao live modestly.

They are not in the consumer society as we and they are almost deprived of many things

For this little boy (who had fever) on the photo and who kept his little brother

during the absence of his parents at work, parents were afraid he has a serious illness,

finally after consultation, he had antibiotics and luckily it is not serious :)
